UPDATE: New Videos for K–3 Songs

Second Step educators know our program’s videos, songs, and photos are a big part of students’ learning experiences. Now, in keeping with the needs of modern-day classrooms, these assets—which are included in curriculum kits as DVDs, CDs, and paper assets—can also be accessed online as part of Second Step SEL, Child Protection Unit, and Bullying Prevention Unit for Early Learning–Grade 5 when you register your classroom kit on SecondStep.org.

Access Is Easy

To access your streaming lesson media, just activate your curriculum kit or notebook on SecondStep.org.

Once you do, you can view your media two ways:

[Figure 1] On the My Dashboard page, go directly to your grade-level program to find a link just below the online resources (which, by the way, include loads of resources for teachers and counselors, program coordinators, and families).

[Figure 2] Or click on the resources section, where Streaming Lesson Media is found under the Teachers & Counselors tab. Once you’re on the Streaming Lesson Media page, you’ll find all the grade-specific media that’s included with your Second Step curriculum kit available to stream with ease.

Update

We’re adding video to our K–3 SEL program songs! These new online videos will help reinforce what students learn in class in a fun and visual way. Go to your secondstep.org Dashboard today to view the new videos and all of your Streaming Lesson Media. Check out this clip from Grade 3’s “The Empathy Song”!

We hope this new feature will help streamline your lessons and continue to support your SEL instruction. And thank you for continuing to champion SEL in your classrooms. Together we’ll help kids not just become better students, but better people.
