This new research-based program teaches middle school students vital skills that steer them away from risky situations and help them build strong social connections. The program focuses on:

- Substance abuse prevention

- Emotion management and coping
- Problem solving, decision making, and goal setting
The curriculum uses several teaching strategies, including group discussion; individual, partner, and group activities; and interactive exercises, games, and skill practice.
