TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING Training for Trainers (2 days)
Develop a proactive approach to preventing child sexual abuse and developing critical safety skills for children. Learn how to teach the TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING personal safety curriculum to children and how to train others to teach the program. Participants also learn how to identify, report, and handle a child's disclosure of abuse and respond appropriately to children who have been abused. Participants receive a comprehensive trainer's manual and a training video.
TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING Staff Training (1 day)
Learn to teach personal safety skills to children using the TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING curriculum. Participants also learn about the role of legally mandated reporters, how to identify indicators of abuse, and how to make a child sexual abuse report. This training is offered on-site only.
