Help Students Learn Safety Skills

The TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING program for Grades 1–3 helps adults build safety awareness in a variety of environments. Together, teachers and parents learn how to provide children with rules, encouragement, and skill practice.

This research-based program begins with common safety rules for cars, traffic, fire, and guns, then moves on to the "always ask first rule" and lessons about abusive situations and touching safety. Fully scripted photo-lesson cards also teach assertiveness skills to use in any unsafe situation, and children enjoy getting to know the characters in Sam's Story.

What's in a kit and how much does it cost?
