Help Keep Young Children Safe

The Pre/K TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING program gives children a foundation of fundamental skills for dealing with dangerous situations and supports families and teachers in discussing sensitive but critical issues with children.

This research-based program begins with common safety rules for cars, traffic, fire, and guns, then moves on to the "always ask first rule" and lessons about abusive situations and touching safety. Fully scripted photo-lesson cards (PDF) encourage interactive learning and discussion. Children enjoy problem solving with Joey in the Joey Learns the Touching Rule video, and the Safey Steps poster provides a simple reminder of their newfound skills.

What's in a kit and how much does it cost?
