Everybody Has Something by Margaret Domnick

This children's book reminds us that we all have something that makes us unique. Each page has a brightly colored photograph of a real child with a real condition, such as asthma, cancer, or trouble concentrating. This book is a lovely tool for empathy building for all ages. Each person I share it with names five people they want to have see it. Domnick's own children's struggles with issues of diversity and acceptance inspired her to begin writing books.
