Reinforce the Skills

Now that your lessons are underway, it's time to look at ways to transfer program skills and concepts throughout your school or organization.

Learning new social and emotional skills takes practice, just like learning to play music or ride a bike. Reinforcing social and emotional skills and concepts throughout the school gives students more opportunities to practice applying the skills in new ways and in new situations. It also helps students make connections between the skills they are learning at school and how those skills apply to other areas of their lives.

Transfer of Learning Activities
Help students use their program skills and knowledge in creative and fun ways that will allow them to transfer the learning beyond the lessons.
