Secure Sponsorship and Buy-In

Getting Sponsors On Board
Successful program implementation begins with strong sponsorship. The sponsor is the person with overall authority and decision-making ability to help ensure the program's success. The sponsor should:

  • Have a clear understanding of the program
  • Believe in and be committed to the program's use
  • Have the authority to guarantee the program's use
  • Communicate effectively with staff

Below are a few suggestions for familiarizing potential sponsor(s) with the program.

Preview
Ask the sponsor to examine a curriculum kit, watch online preview videos, and read through our Programs section. He or she can also contact our Client Support Services department at 800-634-4449, ext. 200 with questions.

Attend a Training
Arrange for the sponsor to attend one of our trainings.

Network
Invite neighboring district administrators or teachers who have used the program to discuss their experiences with it. Contact Client Support Services to find someone near you who has experience with the program.
