Social-Emotional Development Can Help Reduce Bullying

In a radio interview about bullying with a KJZZ NPR reporter, our executive director, Joan Duffell, says we shouldn’t overzealously attribute all bad behavior to bullying, and when children make social mistakes, adults should teach them prosocial behavior. Having strong social-emotional skills can help prevent bullying, which is specifically about imbalance of power.
