SECOND STEP Middle School Training for Trainers (two days)
Get ready to teach the SECOND STEP middle school program effectively and train others to teach it. This training contains all of the information from the one-day staff training below, plus you’ll learn effective training techniques and walk away with tools and ideas for facilitating your own staff training. Participants receive a comprehensive trainer’s manual, overview DVDs, and training CD-ROM. Professional development credits are available for completing this training.
SECOND STEP Middle School Staff Training (one day)
Get hands-on experience teaching the SECOND STEP middle school program to students. You’ll learn best practices for teaching the program, practice teaching the lessons, and discuss ways to make the program work in your setting.
In addition to training school staff, this training can be used to phase new teachers into the program if it’s already being used in your school or agency.
