TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING Training for Trainers (two days)
Develop a proactive approach to preventing child sexual abuse. Learn how to teach the TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING personal safety curriculum to children and how to train others to teach the program. Participants also learn how to identify, report, and handle a child's disclosure of abuse and respond appropriately to children who have been abused. Participants receive a comprehensive trainer's manual and a training video. Professional development credits are available for completing this training.
TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING On-Site Staff Training (one day)
Learn to teach personal safety skills to children using the TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING curriculum. Participants also learn about the role of legally mandated reporters, how to identify indicators of abuse, and how to make a child sexual abuse report.
