Tips to Expedite Your Order and Set-Up of Digital Second Step Products

To help our clients hit the ground running, we’ve put together these tips for getting off to a smooth start:

When ordering individual licenses for the 2017 Middle School Program:

  1. Identify the license administrator(s), who will manage the distribution of the single seat for each Middle School Program license. (The license administrator may also be the person who will teach the Second Step lessons.)
    • For purchase orders, include the administrator’s contact information with the order (email address, school name, name, job title).
    • For online orders, the purchaser will automatically be assigned as the license administrator.
  2. If you’re not the license administrator, let the administrator know he or she will receive an email with instructions from support@secondstep.org. License administrator(s) identify who will teach Second Step lessons and assign access to these people.
  3. Work with your IT team to ensure emails from support@secondstep.org aren’t blocked.

When ordering schoolwide licenses for the 2017 Middle School Program:

  1. Identify the building license administrator(s), who will manage the distribution of seats for the Middle School Program license(s) at each school building. License administrators are able to manage licenses for more than one building.
    • For purchase orders, include the building license administrator’s contact information with order (email address, school name, name, job title).
    • For online orders, you’ll only need the administrator’s email address and school name.
  2. Let your building license administrator(s) know they’ll receive an email with instructions from support@secondstep.org.
  3. Have the building license administrators identify who will teach Second Step lessons and assign individual access to the Middle School Program to these people.
  4. Work with your IT team to ensure emails from support@secondstep.org aren’t blocked.

When ordering Mind Yeti for Schools, just provide us with a list of your staff members, and we’ll do the rest! Here’s how it works:

  1. Select the number of site licenses you’d like to purchase and provide us with your first name, last name, and email address.
  2. Contact us to pay with a credit card immediately, or send a purchase order.
  3. Submit a list of contacts (first names, last names, and email addresses) to which you’d like the licenses assigned. The Mind Yeti team will use the addresses to create and manage accounts for your users throughout the life of your site license.
  4. The Mind Yeti team works their magic!
  5. Your staff will be able to access Mind Yeti for Schools when they log in to their accounts
