Press Founded in 1978, Committee for Children is a global nonprofit dedicated to fostering the safety and well-being of children through social-emotional learning and development. We strive to fulfill our mission through innovative products and programs. Every day these programs reach students around the world and teach them valuable social-emotional skills to succeed in life. We currently offer social-emotional learning, bullying prevention, child sexual abuse prevention, and mindfulness programs—all of which allow students to excel in the classroom and teach skills that will last a lifetime.
